Im completely disorganised for Christmas this year. Usually I have all of the presents picked out and on lay-by by now, but this year Im not even close. To top it off we also have three birthdays between now and then!!
But, it is October so Scentsy has now released CHRISTMAS WARMERS!! That should tick off a few on my gift list.

{Recipe} Homemade Laundry Liquid
Ive been asked my a few people for this recipe, so here it is. My poor daughter suffers terribly from eczema. In an effort to try and minimise things in the house that set it off, I've started making my own laundry detergent.
Ingredients:
4 cups hot boiled Water
1 natural Soap Bar (I use a goats milk soap bar from Coles)
1 cup Washing Soda
1/4 cup Borax
Grate the soap bar using the coarse side of your cheese grater. Combine the soap flakes and hot water in a large saucepan. Stir over a medium-low heat until the soap is melted. Fill a large bucket (I just use a nappy bucket) half full of very hot water. Add the melted soap mixture, the washing soda and the borax. Stir until all the powder is dissolved. Fill the bucket up to the top with more hot water. Stir, cover and let sit overnight to thicken. Transfer your homemade laundry detergent to a bunch of clean used laundry jugs.
I also don't use any fabric softener with my washing. It works a treat at not irritating her skin but doesn't smell as great as Fab or Omo. This is why I use the Scentsy washer whiffs. It has also saved me a HEAP of money. I was using the Omo Sensitive, which was $19.00 for 2 litres. Having 3 kids I would go through one of those a week. I can make that laundry liquid for about $3.00 and it lasts me about 2 weeks. I also get 20 loads of washing out of a container of washer whiffs, which costs $17.00, so all up I am now spending about $10.00 a week.

Don't Judge Me
We have just recently moved into a new house and we happen to have an extra room. Since Jonathan is sick of my Scentsy taking over the office, the extra room has been designated my Scentsy room. Since we have moved in, unpacking the Scentsy room has been put to the bottom of the list and everything has started to pile up in there. Basically - its a mess!!! So, stay tuned. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be showing you my brand new ORGANISED Scentsy room.

Scout
Scout has to have been one of my favourite buddies. The detail on him is incredible, not to mention just how cute he is! Unfortunately though, he has sold out. Next week we will be getting a new buddy, but for now I still might have a couple of Scouts hiding in my cupboard if you want to get your hands on one.
